St Salvators Chapel is situated in the heart of medieval St Andrews. It is now part of St Andrews University, but still a “working” church. The Chapel is a rare and beautiful example of Late Gothic architecture. Founded in 1450 as a part of Bishop James Kennedy’s College of the Holy Saviour, the Chapel of St Salvator has had a long and varied history.
The chapel is a very comon place to have your wedding ceremony too.
Behind the chapel is St Salvators Quad, this has many buildings most now used by the university for teaching or functions.
