Welcome to my photo blog. I know full well that most people who come here will have come from some random search on Google rather than looking for me directly, but I hope you enjoy my work while your here all the same, and may even want to return.
I am a freelance photographer, living in Ballmullo, a small village near St Andrews, Scotland, with my wife and my daughter and son. I grew up in St Andrews, (yes I do play golf, but very badly and not very often.) I like it here but only wish that the weather was better sometimes.
You may notice that my photos have a different look to them, about 85% of the stuff I take is using the High Dynamic Range (HDR) technique. Some people shun HDR images, personally I like the way that the images look, the level of detail and the colours. I don’t go over the top in my processing and end up with “popart” style but I do believe it adds something to the shot.
Prints of my work are for sale, here. The shop has a selection of my prints, not everything is there and should there be a particular print you would like to own then please get in touch and I’ll arrange for it to be added to the store.
